Power Plant to La Chorrera

DAKO WORLDWIDE TRANSPORT GMBH successfully transported an approximately 50-MW diesel power plant from various European origins to La Chorrera, Panama, including three diesel engines with individual weights of nearly 300 tons.

The project involved sea transport through the Panama Canal, construction of a temporary jetty in Puerto Caimito, and extensive route and bridge modifications for the heavy haulage to the site. Despite significant technical and logistical challenges, all components were delivered safely and installed on their foundations.
