We have a strong focus in developing tailor-made logistic solutions for turn-key EPC projects.
DAKO counts on vast experience in transportation of petrochemical plants, power stations, power distribution systems, steel and cement factories worldwide. The experience includes services in countries of destination, port handling, customs clearance, onforwarding and delivery of items free foundation at the construction site.
Management and staff of DAKO WORLDWIDE TRANSPORT GMBH is highly qualified and has experiences in handling projects worldwide of more than 40 years.

Code of Ethics & Compliance and Anti-Corruption Policy
DAKO WORLDWIDE TRANSPORT GmbH is an international forwarding logistic and transport company specialized in the transportation of industrial investment goods including heavy and bulky machinery and equipment up to complete industrial plants such as cement factories, power plants, iron & steel plants, petrochemical plants and oil & gas equipment etc. on a worldwide basis. This includes local transport in the country of destination up to construction site and if required, delivery on foundation. DAKO WORLDWIDE with its head office in Düsseldorf and its branch office in Bremen / Germany works on an international basis for clients in Europe and overseas.
The management, the employees and the partners of DAKO WORLDWIDE TRANSPORT GmbH strictly abide by compliance rules and a Code of Ethics & Compliance and Anti-Corruption Policy, which defines the basic requirements of the company as well as suppliers of services. Compliance Standards
DAKO is committed to the highest standards of ethical business conduct and integrity. These standards are mandatory and must be adhered to at all times by our employees and business partners.
It is DAKO’s policy that the organization, its employees, and business partners comply with all applicable laws and regulations, minimizing the risk of non-compliance. Any form of unethical business conduct is incompatible with the principles of transparency, integrity, professionalism, responsibility, and ethics and will not be tolerated.
Our commitment is demonstrated from the top down by our Management and by every employee worldwide. Our policy is based, but not limited to, the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA, 1977), the UK Bribery Act (UKBA, 2010), and the principles outlined in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC).
Our corporate Code of Ethics & Compliance and Anti-Corruption Compliance Policy has been implemented and built upon the following essential pillars of ethical conduct, which must be complied with at all times:
- Anti-corruption & improper payments: DAKO takes a zero-tolerance approach to corruption. Any form of bribery or facilitation payment is strictly prohibited. Rules regarding the provision of gifts and hospitality, charitable donations, and political contributions support our commitment to anti-bribery and anti-corruption and must be followed at all times.
- Security: Following the “trust but verify” principle, we monitor operations in our Transport Management System electronically 24/7. Business partners are screened against relevant sanction list databases, ensuring that our business is always protected.
- Business relations: Ethical business practices are reinforced by providing guidance to employees on essential topics such as competition, anti-trust, conflicts of interest, handling confidential information, data privacy, and trade controls.
- Good workplace: A first-class healthy and safe work environment is a key condition for economic success. DAKO does not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment in the workplace. DAKO bears its responsibilities and does not tolerate child labor. Specially trained Local Ethics Officers are available at all office locations to provide guidance, assistance, and a personal reporting channel for employees.
- Speak up: It is mandatory for DAKO employees and business partners to report actual or potential violations of the law, the Code of Ethics and Compliance, or this policy. Reports must be made by email, phone, or in person to a line manager, Branch Manager, Local Ethics Officers on-site, or the Compliance Officer. Reports may be made anonymously; however, our non-retaliation policy ensures that no one needs to worry about speaking up.
- Transparency: Every employee is required to acknowledge the DAKO Code of Ethics and Compliance and Anti-Corruption Compliance Policy on an annual basis. Regular circulars and updates regarding our compliance program must be read by employees, officers, and directors to fulfill our strategy of “living compliance.”
- Environmental protection: Every DAKO employee acts in accordance with the applicable statutory and international standards regarding environmental protection to minimize environmental pollution and make continuous improvements in dealing with the given resources and the effects on climate change.
Any breach of this policy will result in disciplinary action, which may lead to the immediate termination of an employment contract or business partner relationship. Violations may also result in criminal offense charges, possibly leading to imprisonment and fines for the individual involved.
DAKO works with business partners who are supportive of and committed to our Code of Ethics & Compliance and operate with the highest standards of business ethics.
This policy first took effect in July 2004 and is reviewed annually and developed further.
